Description
Citrine is a rare and radiant variety of quartz, admired for its warm tones that range from pale yellow to golden brownish-orange. Beloved as one of the most popular yellow gemstones in the world, the finest citrines showcase a vivid saturated yellow to reddish-orange hue, glowing with brilliance and free from any brownish tints.

Naturally occurring citrine crystals are found in places such as Russia and Madagascar, often in impressive sizes. In Sri Lanka, however, much of the citrine seen in the market originates from amethyst that has been heat-treated, producing beautiful gems with the same sunny appeal.

Cherished for its vibrancy and affordability, citrine is a symbol of joy, energy, and abundance, making it a timeless favourite for both everyday wear and elegant jewellery.
